Your Teeth

Teeth are small, calcified, whitish structures found in the jaws of a human. They aid in the process of break down of food before it enters the digestive system. The roots of the teeth are covered by gums. Teeth are made up of enamel, dentim, cementum and pulp. There are four types of teeth in a jaw – incisors used for biting, canines used for ripping and tearing food, premolars and molars used for chewing and grinding.
