Plaque

A soft, sticky and colourless deposit that is formed on teeth and gums due to the contact of bacteria with food particles is known as plaque. This attacks the teeth and gums weakening the roots resulting in tooth decay, tooth sensitivity or other oral complications. Being colourless it is difficult to detect plaque due to which a regular visit to the dentist along with daily oral hygiene is very important.
