IDA Recommended

In India, the Indian Dental Association (IDA) is the premier association of dental professionals. The IDA seal of acceptance is a certification programme that endorses the safety and efficacy of dental products in India.

The IDA Seal of Acceptance guidelines are pretty stringent and not every dental product qualifies for the Seal. The IDA seal is granted after a review of

• Ingredient lists and product information
• Clinical and/or laboratory studies that support the product's safety, effectiveness and promotional claims
• Manufacturing practices and laboratory facility compliance with good manufacturing practices
• Product packaging and labelling for accuracy and truthfulness in advertising

After assessing all ingredients, clinical studies, manufacturing & testing practices and claims, the IDA has given LISTERINE^® mouthwash its seal of acceptance. Not only in India, professional organizations around the world – including the American Dental Association – have thoroughly assessed the clinical research supporting the efficacy of LISTERINE^® Mouthwash and awarded the product their seals of approval or acceptance.
